This role opens doors to advanced clinical practice within a renowned 607-bed teaching facility, nationally recognized for tertiary care, medical education, and research. As part of a Level I Trauma Center tightly connected with leading institutes specializing in transplant and neuro services, youll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge patient care, multi-disciplinary team leadership, and diverse workplace practices. Schedule/Hours:
- Weekly orientations on Mondays (except holidays)
- Shifts assigned with designated parking and shuttle services
Qualifications:
- Active RN license and eligibility to practice in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of core ER nursing experience in Level I Trauma and teaching hospital settings
- Prior travel nursing experience in ER or Neuro ICU
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must have own transportation
- Adherence to professional appearance policies (natural hair colors, no facial piercings)
- Required: Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Must not have worked as permanent staff within Commonspirit in the past 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert emergency care in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital
- Mentor and collaborate with nursing students and interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize advanced clinical decision-making skills for complex patient cases
