This travel assignment allows you to expand your clinical experience in a dynamic emergency department, collaborating with a diverse team while managing a wide spectrum of patient scenariosfrom trauma and cardiac cases to pediatric emergencies. This is the perfect opportunity to add depth to your resume, develop new skills, and gain exposure to innovative practices and different leadership methods within a supportive yet fast-paced setting.
Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Four weekend shifts over every four weeks
- No on-call requirements
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS
- Strong teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude essential
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care across all patient populations, including trauma, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and pediatric patients
- Navigate varying patient ratios: 4:1 (pods), 2:1 (critical), 6:1 (fast track)
- Utilize Cerner EHR
- Uphold high standards of clinical practice, safety, and teamwork without floating to other units
