This assignment offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency department, gaining hands-on experience with diverse patient populationsfrom trauma and stroke cases to pediatric and geriatric care. Schedule & Hours
- 7p7a shifts
- 36 hours weekly guaranteed
- Four weekend shifts every four weeks
- No call requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
- Trauma and pediatric experience highly valued
- Strong teamwork, resilience, and easy-going interpersonal style
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a broad spectrum of emergency patients, including trauma, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, pediatric, and geriatric cases
- Manage patient ratios tailored to acuity (4:1 for pod, 2:1 critical, 6:1 fast track)
- Document and chart efficiently in the Cerner EHR system
- Uphold flexible communication and a commitment to collaborative care
