Job Description
Providing skilled nursing care during night shifts, this role requires an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Room settings. The position involves delivering direct patient care aligned with established policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care following healthcare organization protocols.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition effectively.
- Serve as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to enable seamless patient care.
- Accurately note and execute physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and facilitate patient discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience working in an Emergency Room environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate care among interdisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate patient care approach and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
