Schedule:

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • Must be available to work various days of the week
  • Two (2) 24-hour calls required in an eight-week period
  • Weekends: at least every other weekend
  • Holidays: minimum 2 major, 2 minor

Qualifications:

  • Valid, unrestricted RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certified
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified or equivalent (including instructor and provisional options)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified or equivalent (including instructor and provisional options, within 180 days)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN within 18 months
  • Less than 1 year experience in direct patient care preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, technology, and time management skills
  • Ability to function calmly and respectfully under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to life-threatening situations
  • Collaborate across disciplines to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records using contemporary technology
  • Exhibit leadership and evidence-based clinical practice in all care settings
