In this role, youll be delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency settingan excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise as you work alongside an accomplished team. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours will be confirmed during interview process)
Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to quickly assess patient needs in urgent situations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to assignment)
- Experience supervising and mentoring other nursing staff is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide coordinated, high-standard care to assigned emergency room patients
- Oversee, educate, and support nursing staff of varying skill levels
- Collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking for clinical decision-making
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and compliance with protocols
- Exercise independence and sound judgment in supervision and patient care
