Job Description

Deliver exceptional and compassionate care in a dynamic emergency department environment. In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to patients experiencing acute health crises, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Youll use advanced critical thinking skills to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care for an assigned group while guiding and supervising fellow nursing staff members and coordinating interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments in the emergency room, promptly recognizing changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as outlined by physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and care to the healthcare team and patient families
• Oversee the workload and performance of assigned nursing team members
• Participate in rapid response situations, providing calm, effective care during high-stress events
• Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in an emergency department setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; PALS certification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to respond to complex, urgent medical situations with competence and composure
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Adaptability and sound judgment in high-pressure situations
