Experienced registered nurses are needed to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. This contract role centers on triage and treatment of trauma and emergency patients across the age spectrum within an acute care unit. As a member of this critical care team, you'll deliver direct bedside care and support emergency protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Proficiency in emergency nursing practices, including triage and acute patient management
• Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting strongly preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages
• Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations

Schedule:

• Contract-based assignment (duration discussed during interview process)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver swift, efficient nursing care to emergency and trauma patients
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize treatment based on patient acuity
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients
• Monitor patient conditions, record vital data, and administer prescribed medications or interventions
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and follow-up needs
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Support the mission to provide comprehensive emergency care in an acute care setting
