Job Description
Skilled registered nurses with emergency room expertise are needed for a contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical support and quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year of recent ER nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain composed and make swift decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to comply with facility policies and patient safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, prioritize, and provide care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Triage patients according to acuity and ensure prompt interventions
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered
- Monitor vital signs and quickly respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records
- Educate patients and family members regarding diagnoses, procedures, and aftercare
- Adhere to all infection control and hospital protocols
