Provide expert emergency nursing care as an RN in a fast-paced clinical environment located in Douglasville, GA. This contract position involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. Your role will be guided by evidence-based practices, professional nursing standards, and organizational values that prioritize patient safety and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members to ensure seamless and safe patient care delivery
- Advocate for patients needs and uphold system policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing professional development within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model and Professional Practice Model frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication to support effective patient care management
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid RN licensure in Georgia
- Experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing scope of practice and ethical standards
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
