This high-acuity emergency unit provides exposure to a diverse and challenging patient population, including frequent cases of strokes, cardiovascular emergencies, diabetes complications, wounds, behavioral health, sepsis, and periodic trauma cases. This environment is designed for nurses eager to gain substantial experience and refine their skills in an intense and supportive setting. Youll work with experienced professionals and strong on-site security, ensuring a safe and collaborative workplace.

Schedule:
- 7PM 7AM
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirements
- No floating; maintain focus on the ER
- Nurse/patient ratio: 4:1
Qualifications:
- RN license (state of employment or compact)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA required)
- CPI Blue Card required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one year of ER nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver both routine and complex care with sound clinical judgment
- Complete assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and monitor responses per protocol
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatments
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers as needed
- Participate in ongoing competency evaluations, orientation, and preceptorships
