Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Expectation to work the majority of major holidays
• Floating required within region facilities (within practice scope)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (required); TNCC (preferred)
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, and ESI assessments
• Familiarity with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors
• Flexible and willing to float throughout regional facilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage care for both pediatric and adult ED patients with various acute and chronic conditions
• Maintain RN patient ratios (1:4-5, acuity-based)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including 24/7 hospitalist and ED physician support
• Ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to protocols
• Participate in departmental orientation and adapt to different unit workflows
