Schedule:
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirement
- Travelers work 75% of holidays
- Pre-approved time off: up to 6 days, excluding holidays (contract extension required if needed)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department RN experience (Resource Team requirement)
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications; TNCC preferred
- Solid general ED skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, PIV starts, chest tubes, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, ESI assessments
- Confident using Epic, Alaris, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors
- Must be comfortable floating between region facilities as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care for both pediatric and adult populations
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform detailed patient assessments and documentation
- Manage critical interventions, including medication administration and advanced monitoring
- Engage actively with resource team to maintain exceptional standards of care
