Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel contract
- Floating required within designated facilities as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience (resource team requirement)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong general emergency skill set: cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, IV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, ESI assessments
- Experience with both pediatric and adult patient populations
- Comfort with EPIC documentation, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, and Phillips monitors
- Willingness and flexibility to float between regional facilities
- Navy scrubs required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients experiencing a broad spectrum of emergency conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases
- Collaborate with a supportive care team including CNAs, Charge Nurses, Hospitalists, and ED Physicians
- Utilize advanced technology and follow protocols unique to a stroke center
- Adapt to various unit workflows and establish rapport with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to an efficient, safe, and patient-centered environment
