Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time travel contract
  • Floating required within designated facilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience (resource team requirement)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required; TNCC preferred
  • Strong general emergency skill set: cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, IV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, ESI assessments
  • Experience with both pediatric and adult patient populations
  • Comfort with EPIC documentation, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, and Phillips monitors
  • Willingness and flexibility to float between regional facilities
  • Navy scrubs required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients experiencing a broad spectrum of emergency conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases
  • Collaborate with a supportive care team including CNAs, Charge Nurses, Hospitalists, and ED Physicians
  • Utilize advanced technology and follow protocols unique to a stroke center
  • Adapt to various unit workflows and establish rapport with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to an efficient, safe, and patient-centered environment
