Schedule/Hours
- Flexible scheduling with 4 weekend shifts per month
- No on-call required
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license with acute ER experience (required)
- Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS (required)
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Meditech
- Trauma experience preferred
- Ability to perform procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs
- Personable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population in a 28-bed department
- Effectively manage a 4:1 patient ratio, ensuring quality and compassion in all aspects of care
- Collaborate with a skilled team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
- Maintain high standards of documentation and safety according to facility protocols
- Float as needed within the department to support patient care demands
