As a travel nurse specializing in emergency care, youll become a valued part of an experienced team in a busy 31-bed ER, treating an average of 78 patients per day across all age groups. This setting allows you to expand your clinical expertise while navigating diverse patient populations and working closely with dedicated leaders and colleagues, strengthening your adaptability and subject matter expertise.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), Nights (1900-0700)
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
  • No on-call; holiday assignments on a rotation basis
  • Manager creates a 6-week schedule cycle, shared about a month in advance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years recent ER experience (trauma level not specified)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Strong IV skills, neuro assessment, initiating/titrating critical drips, triage, code response, sedation/bedside procedures
  • Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and leadership

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care for infants, children, adults, and seniors, stabilizing critical cases for transfer as needed
  • Deliver expert interventions for a range of complex diagnoses (cardiac, respiratory, trauma, behavioral health, etc.)
  • Lead by example within the department as a resource and partner
  • Engage in ongoing learning through interaction with 24/7 on-site support including charge nurses, ER physicians, and specialty staff
  • Utilize Cerner EMR, and operate advanced unit-specific equipment

$1,790 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
