Schedule/Hours
- 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
- Fully-staffed units: 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs per shift
- Weekend coverage required for 24/7 patient care
Qualifications
- Current RN license, eligible to practice in California
- Recent acute care emergency department experience preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR system is an asset
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Navy blue scrubs (not provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse ED patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and nursing peers
- Triage, assess, and document on Cerner FirstNet EMR
- Respond efficiently to urgent patient needs without on-call
