Professionally, working in this fast-paced emergency department will allow you to enhance critical skills in acute care, gain hands-on experience with Cerner FirstNet EMR, and engage with local healthcare leaders. Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 (Day Shift): Team of 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs
- 1900-0730 (Night Shift): Team of 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs
- Weekend coverage is required, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (unencumbered)
- At least one year of recent ER nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Cerner FirstNet or willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and assessment skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care in a busy ER setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments and interventions in the Cerner FirstNet system
- Follow evidence-based protocols and department policies
