This ER nursing position offers a dynamic work environment within a modern, 108-bed hospital, where your expertise will be valued and your skills broadened. Working with multidisciplinary teams and a variety of leadership styles, youll gain exposure to advanced practices in emergency care, boosting your professional growth and enhancing your resume. Our facility is equipped with the Cerner FirstNet EMR system, offering opportunities to work with up-to-date technologies and streamline patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift: 0700-1930 (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Night Shift: 1900-0730 (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Weekend coverage required (24/7)
- No on-call
- Scrubs: Navy blue (not provided)
Qualifications:
- Current RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum of one year prior experience in an ER setting preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, high-quality care to diverse emergency department patients
- Accurately document care using Cerner FirstNet EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing quality and safety protocols
- Maintain professionalism and adaptability during varied shift hours
