As an Emergency Room RN traveler, you will be part of a dedicated team providing critical care in a hospital with 108 beds and around-the-clock support. The experience will be a valuable addition to your resume, showcasing your ability to adapt to different settings and collaborate with staff using advanced technology, such as Cerner FirstNet EMR. The exposure to various leadership approaches, workflows, and patient populations will help you grow as a clinician and prepared leader.
During your assignment, you'll have the flexibility to explore the rich agricultural valleys, discover nearby parks, and create lasting memories in your downtime.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00am 7:30pm (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Night Shift: 7:00pm 7:30am (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Weekend coverage required (24/7 ED)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Previous emergency room experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner FirstNet a plus
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
- Must provide own navy blue scrubs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency setting
- Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams
- Document accurately in the Cerner FirstNet system
- Respond swiftly to emergent situations, prioritizing patient safety
- Participate in 24/7 ED coverage as required
