Job Description
Provide critical care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level IV trauma center located in Colorado City, CO. This contract opportunity offers the chance to lead as the sole Registered Nurse during night shifts, supported by a dedicated technician and an RN administrative house supervisor available as needed.
Key responsibilities include managing a 3-bed ER environment, delivering timely and expert nursing care to diverse patient emergencies, and collaborating closely with the healthcare team to maintain exceptional patient outcomes. Strong independence, critical thinking, and trauma nursing expertise are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active RN license
- Clinical experience in Emergency Room nursing, preferably within a Level IV trauma center
- Certification in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC required
- Ability to serve as the sole RN on night shifts, with support from a tech and house supervisor
- Proactive communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available for weekend shifts
