Step into a pivotal role delivering high-quality emergency care for patients in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse committed to excellence in emergency medicine and compassionate patient support.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotation includes every other weekend
• Every other holiday required
• Blocked scheduling is not available

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-stress scenarios
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with a multidisciplinary team
• Certification in BLS and ACLS; additional certifications (such as PALS, TNCC) are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and rapid assessment, intervention, and care for patients across all age groups in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care
• Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Prioritize and manage incoming cases based on clinical urgency and department protocols
• Support patient and family education while advocating for optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere strictly to professional standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety
