Job Description

Deliver outstanding emergency care by utilizing your expertise as an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room setting. This contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver prompt, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • 1+ year of recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working swiftly under pressure and adapting to unpredictable situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for those experiencing medical emergencies
  • Quickly respond to urgent cases by recognizing symptoms and prioritizing treatments according to triage guidelines
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families on emergent conditions, treatments, and post-care instructions
  • Maintain a safe and efficient environment in accordance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols
