Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an emergency room setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing patient assessments in the emergency department, prioritizing care based on acuity
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during emergencies
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergencies, code situations, and rapid response calls
