Provide expert care as a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency room nursing in Chimayo, NM. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, playing a vital role in delivering efficient, safe, and compassionate care tailored to the specific needs of diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care plans appropriate to the patients age and condition.
• Maintain quality and effectiveness in clinical practice, adhering to established standards.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations requiring physical endurance and quick judgment.
• Comply with all safety protocols regarding infectious diseases and environmental hazards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Preferred certifications include TNCC, ATCN, CPI, or equivalent.
• Proficient in emergency nursing with knowledge of patient rights and age-appropriate care.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including patient transfers and prolonged standing.
• Strong visual acuity, hearing, manual dexterity, and coordination.

Work Environment:

• Positions are based within a clean, well-lit, ventilated, and smoke-free clinical setting.
• Exposure to infectious diseases and radiation per safety guidelines.
• Work hours are predominantly nights with some schedule flexibility required for emergencies or staffing changes.
