As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at this acclaimed healthcare destination, youll enhance your expertise by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adapting to innovative workplace practices. Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent ER/ED experience
- Competency in high acuity emergency interventions, triage standards, and trauma care
- Strong assessment abilities for patients of all ages, including crisis and psychosocial evaluation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays (travel assignment)
Core Responsibilities:
- Rapid triage, prioritization, and direct care of diverse patient populations
- Precise documentation, timely recognition of urgent/emergent situations, and appropriate escalation/interventions
- Compassionate patient/family connection throughout the clinical process, including education, comfort, and post-emergency transitions
- Cooperative teamwork, patient advocacy, and adherence to all safety/infection prevention protocols
- Maintain and update patient communication boards and collaborate across the care continuum
