Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER) | Brooklet, GA | Contract | Nights 5p-5a
A healthcare facility in Brooklet, GA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a dedicated professional to deliver critical care in a fast-paced ER setting during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ER patients utilizing the Nursing Process in line with state Nurse Practice Act and facility protocols.
- Apply critical thinking, scientific judgment, and clinical leadership to anticipate and plan safe patient care.
- Maintain and update clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate and supervise patient care duties to clinical staff according to their education and experience.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality in patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Completion of at least 2 previous travel nursing assignments successfully.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training.
- Preferred certifications and skills: TNCC and experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a high-stress environment.
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
