Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for emergency care. This contract position calls for strong clinical skills in an Emergency Room environment, working within a respected acute care setting. Successful candidates will provide critical, compassionate care to patients during high-pressure situations while collaborating with medical professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Rotational schedule: 4 weeks of night shifts followed by 4 weeks of day shifts (or vice versa)
• Available start dates: April 6 or April 20

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum one year of recent ER experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of emergency medicine procedures and protocols
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with emergent and critical needs
• Triage, assess, and monitor patients in accordance with established protocols
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and assist with procedures as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
