Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Serving in both the Emergency Department and Inpatient Hold settings, you'll encounter dynamic case variety and thrive alongside a talented, supportive team. This assignment is an excellent way to elevate your skills and professional value with a highly respected healthcare facility.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year emergency room experience as an RN
- Previous experience managing ED and inpatient hold ratios and acuity
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications preferred
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in fast-paced ED and inpatient hold environments
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care outcomes
- Document care, monitor changes, and intervene as needed
- Support patient safety and satisfaction initiatives
- Adapt to changing patient loads and priorities with flexibility and professionalism
