Working as a travel nurse here means gaining invaluable exposure to diverse patient populationsfrom urgent care and pediatrics to trauma and psychwhile collaborating with a team committed to the latest best practices. Youll deepen your expertise in critical care skills, such as medication titration and management of arterial lines, mass transfusion, and chest tubes. This assignment offers the chance to learn from accomplished leaders and enhance your resume with skillsets that set you apart in the nursing field.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7p)
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years ER RN experience required
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (state/district)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must live 100 miles away from the facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care for patients ranging from urgent cases to critical trauma
- Safely manage complex cases including stroke and STEMI
- Coordinate care and prioritize patient safety and positive outcomes
- Apply advanced skills in medication titration, arterial line management, and mass transfusion protocols
