Schedule/Hours:
- 7PM 7AM
- Full Time
- Every other weekend required
In this role, youll care for patients facing a broad spectrum of emergencies, including strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, sepsis, and select trauma cases. The units fast pace will challenge and hone your clinical judgment, while a supportive security presence ensures a safe work setting. Youll collaborate with accomplished healthcare teams and have the opportunity to observe a variety of leadership and treatment approachesexperience that fosters professional growth and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
- CPI Blue Card required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least one year of recent relevant nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for both routine and complex cases
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments; document all care clearly
- Educate and support patients and families on health issues and resources
- Manage patient assignments and delegate tasks to ensure optimal care
