This travel assignment places you in a pod-based, state-of-the-art, 65-bed Emergency Department with a robust daily census of 230 patient visits and dedicated spaces for pediatrics and acute mental health care. Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights & Every Other Weekend
  • 36 hours per week

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active nursing license (RN)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Nursing
  • Proficiency in general ED skills: assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP & TNCC preferred
  • Experience with diverse patient populations
  • Familiarity with EPIC ASAP charting system is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality emergency care to a wide range of patient populations
  • Maintain clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in departmental floating and, if needed, periodic shift rotations
  • Document care accurately and timely using EPIC ASAP
