This role places you in a dynamic, high-acuity, 65-bed emergency department featuring specialized pediatric and acute mental health pods. Youll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and treat a diverse patient population amid a thriving urban settingan outstanding way to gain exposure to best practices, varying leadership styles, and broaden your clinical resume.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, every other weekend, 36 hours per week
• Rotating shifts may be required but are infrequent for this schedule

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience
• Proficient in emergency care skills: Assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
• Comfortable with a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio
• Experience with the EPIC ASAP charting system preferred
• Floating to similar units and day/night rotation may be required (primarily for cross-coverage during shifts)
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP and TNCC highly desirable)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency care across all age groups in a fast-paced setting
• Efficiently manage varying acuity levels and patient volumes (approx. 230 visits/day)
• Collaborate with a highly trained multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient communication
• Contribute to a positive team environment and adapt to evolving ED demands
