Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital setting, utilizing critical thinking skills and acute nursing expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Rotating schedule: four weeks of nights followed by four weeks of days (or vice versa, based on rotation)
• Contract start dates available: April 6 or April 20

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an RN in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
• Ability to function well in high-pressure situations
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Adaptability to changing schedules and shift rotations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered
• Triage patients efficiently and appropriately
• Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and family members
• Assist with procedures and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and best practices
• Uphold patient safety and confidentiality at all times
