Job Description

A skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise is sought for a contract assignment in Blue Springs, MO. This position requires proficiency in Cerner charting and previous travel nursing experience. The role is structured around night shifts, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, accurate patient charting using Cerner, and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Missouri RN license or Compact License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
  • Proven Cerner electronic health record system expertise.
  • Previous travel nursing experience essential; no exceptions.
  • Certification requirements to be current prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC.
  • CPI certification required starting January 2026.
  • Ability to pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher, focusing on lethal rhythms.
  • EKG pass and CEU requirements are mandatory with no block scheduling.
  • Accepts local nurses at the same rate as travelers.

Shift Details:

  • 3x12 hour night shifts (18:45 07:15).
  • Every other weekend required.
  • Orientation begins Tuesday, starting ASAP.
  • Contract duration is approximately 13 weeks.
