This dynamic travel RN role in the Emergency Department will immerse you in a regional health center serving primarily adult populations, equipped with diverse specialties including Critical Care, Med/Surg, Acute Rehab, OB, and more. Youll gain insights from healthcare leadership and work alongside a multidisciplinary teamexpanding your clinical practice, adapting to new workplace cultures, and building an impressive resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Multiple guaranteed hour options: 36 or 48 hours/week (please specify your preference)
- Start date flexibility: Monday or Tuesday starts available
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Emergency Room experience
- Iowa SING background check (Criminal and Child Abuse portions) required
- Recent titers (within 12 months): MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB
- Completed 10-panel drug screening, including opiates
- Mandatory reporter certification (Child & Adult)
- Full background clearance (no provisional, instant, or statewide-only checks)
- Strong assessment, triage, and multi-patient management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality patient care in a busy, adult-focused ED setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes
- Respond effectively to emergencies and prioritize patient needs
- Document care and interventions per facility standards
- Adapt to a range of cases in a well-equipped regional center
