Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive triage, assessment, and management for patients presenting to the emergency room
- Initiate and monitor IVs, administer medications, and perform procedures as indicated
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and patient responses
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain a calm and organized approach during high-acuity situations
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in New York State
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- At least one year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask in a busy ER setting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
