Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (required)
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in high-pressure situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessments, triage, and implementation of physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and clear education to patients and families during difficult or stressful situations
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities
