Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting emergency room services across several free-standing facilities. As a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in fast-paced environments and demonstrate adaptability by floating between four sites during your contract assignment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Assignments may require floating among locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, efficient nursing care to diverse patient populations in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform medical interventions
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in compliance with healthcare standards
• Support other nursing units, including Adult ED at the main campus, as needed
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
• Maintain calm and professionalism in high-pressure situations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in an emergency department setting
• Ability to maintain competency while floating between different hospital locations
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications (TNCC, PALS) are a plus
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and provide coverage across multiple hospital sites
