Schedule:
- MIDS: 3:00 PM 3:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- Full-time assignment
Desired Qualifications:
- RN License in Texas or compact licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year emergency care experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience highly regarded
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)
- TNCC certification required
- Completion of orientation, annual competencies, and any designated nurse residency or onboarding programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Deliver both routine and complex nursing interventions, including medication administration and emergency response for stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases
- Respond to patients psychological, emotional, and educational needs
- Delegate effectively to manage clinical situations
- Precisely document all care, histories, and treatments in EPIC EMR
- Continually develop skills and adapt in a fast-paced environment
