As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, assessment-driven care for patients with acute and urgent health needs on a contract basis.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year experience in Emergency Room nursing, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in patient triage, critical care interventions, and emergency protocols
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills
- Previous experience with electronic medical records preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly assess, triage, and provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients
- Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, effective interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform necessary procedures according to clinical standards
- Closely monitor vital signs and patient status, documenting promptly and accurately
- Provide clear explanations and emotional support to patients and their families
- Adhere strictly to clinical policies, patient privacy laws, and infection control standards
