Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care following established emergency nursing standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
  • Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
  • Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure prompt identification of needs
  • Document all care and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent or critical situations with sound judgment
  • Foster a supportive and professional environment, encouraging best practices and team engagement
  • Uphold infection control practices and patient safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Recent experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) or equivalent acute care setting required
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Proficient critical thinking, independent judgment, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with electronic medical records and hospital protocols
