An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room (ER) experience at a rural community hospital located in Arcanum, OH. This contract position offers the chance to provide critical care in a close-knit healthcare setting approximately two hours from both Indianapolis and Columbus.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Ohio RN license
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Prior ER nursing experience is required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
- Perform patient assessments, intervene during emergencies, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during emergencies
