This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Room care to provide skilled nursing services. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups, following established nursing standards and processes. This position requires professional judgment and critical thinking to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established protocols and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
- Exercise critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical and supervisory duties
- Participate in educational and non-productive hours within the Float Pool as applicable
- Accurately document time in accordance with unit assignments and policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Emergency Room experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional discretion
- Flexibility to support multiple units as needed within the Float Pool
