Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating shifts (floating required within the region, always within your RN scope)
- 2-day comprehensive orientation
- Free on-site parking
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Active RN license plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (TNCC is preferred)
- Proficiency with general ED procedures: cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, ventilator management, chest tubes, IV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, and ESI assessments
- Experience caring for pediatric and adult populations with acute conditions
- Comfortable working with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care across diverse diagnoses (cardiac, stroke, trauma, respiratory, and more)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (CNA, charge nurse, physicians, RT, and hospitalists)
- Float between multiple regional facilities as needed
- Respond to variable acuity ratios (1:4-5) to ensure patient safety and optimal care
