Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Proficiency in emergency medical protocols and rapid assessment skills
- Outstanding communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure scenarios
- Strong collaborative skills to coordinate with physicians and allied healthcare staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess patients swiftly, prioritizing care based on need and acuity
- Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions per protocol
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses, communicating changes to providers
- Document all care accurately in electronic medical records
- Collaborate in emergency procedures and resuscitations as directed
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
- Uphold established infection control and safety policies
