Schedule/Hours:
- Self-scheduling model
- Weekend requirement: 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule
- No on-call shifts
- Task-based floating, no full-unit float assignments required
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse emergency patients
- Triage, assess, and monitor patient conditions in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, pharmacy, and phlebotomy staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital policies
