An opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse specializing in emergency care to provide critical support in a vibrant healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Utilize the Pyxis medication system and Cerner electronic documentation effectively.
• Coordinate with 24-hour pharmacy and phlebotomy services to ensure timely patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists and hospitalists for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient care efficiently without the requirement to float or perform IV or lift team duties.
• Provide weekend coverage with a schedule of six weekend shifts every six weeks.
• Participate in self-scheduling to maintain work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with proven experience in emergency nursing.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and medication dispensing technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive care team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptability to shift patterns and patient care needs in a 30-bed unit.
