Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) setting
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac monitoring, EP lab procedures, and catheter ablation
- BLS and ACLS certification (must be active)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with EP equipment and technology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care for patients undergoing EP studies and ablations
- Assist with device implantations, including pacemakers and ICDs
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after EP procedures
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists, allied health staff, and support personnel
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with procedural protocols
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery
