- Variable shifts, including potential nights and weekends
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (state or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum one year of recent dialysis nursing experience (hospital setting strongly preferred)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Adjusts quickly to dynamic, high-acuity environments
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide dialysis therapies for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in various hospital units
- Deliver inpatient therapeutic modalities such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Monitor patient status, adjust treatments as clinically indicated, and ensure quality outcomes
- Support and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in dialysis delivery
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary hospital teams
- Adapt rapidly in a demanding, ever-changing acute care environment
