In this 13-week travel nursing role specializing in acute dialysis, youll work within a leading, award-winning hospital recognized for its comprehensive stroke, trauma, and heart failure care. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate on a 6-bay dialysis unit as well as support ICU and bedside isolation treatments, expanding your exposure to diverse patient populations, advanced technology such as TABLO dialysis machines and Baxter Home Choice for peritoneal dialysis, and multiple leadership and care approaches. This assignment is perfect for nurses looking to refine their acute and peritoneal dialysis expertise while adapting to dynamic patient volumes and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts (3x12s): 7am 7pm, 36 hours weekly
  • Weekend and call coverage as needed (one night per week)
  • Orientation required, day shift for first week

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for licensure
  • BLS from AHA (required), ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 1 year acute dialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience
  • Strong adaptability and teamwork; able to work both independently and with small groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care for all agesassessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and outcomes
  • Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and advocate for patient rights
