Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CVOR nurse
- Proven proficiency with cardiac/vascular surgery protocols and equipment
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Scrub and circulate experience in cardiovascular cases preferred
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available; details provided during the selection process
- Contract assignment with opportunity for extension based on performance and department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and postoperative phases in the CVOR
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team on operative procedures and patient safety checklists
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changing clinical conditions
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and manage all CVOR instruments and supplies
- Document comprehensive care throughout each surgical procedure
